Before you write
If your question is about a booking you have already made — changing a date, cancelling, a pickup time or a meeting point — please contact the tour operator, GetYourGuide, Booking.com or your guesthouse directly. We are an independent guide, not a tour operator or travel agency, and we have no access to your booking.
We cannot book speedboats or arrange transfers. Your guesthouse is the best contact for those. In an emergency in the Maldives call 119 for the police or 102 for an ambulance.
For most planning questions, the answer is probably already here: the travel guide, the whale shark guide, getting there and the local-island guide between them cover almost everything people ask us.
What we would love to hear about
