Affiliate Disclosure

How this site earns money, in plain language.

Dhangethi.com is free to use. It is funded by affiliate commissions: when you click certain links and make a booking, the company you book with may pay us a small share, at no extra cost to you.

Who we work with

  • GetYourGuide — tours, snorkel trips, excursions and activities. Links and booking widgets carry our partner reference.
  • Booking.com — guesthouses, hotels and resorts. Hotel links go to Booking.com, and we may earn a commission if you book.

What this means for you

You pay the same price as you would by going to those sites directly. Bookings, payments, changes and refunds are handled entirely by the provider, under their terms.

What it does not change

Some of the best of Dhangethi is free — walking the village, the bikini beach, sunset at the harbour — and we say so throughout. We recommend a paid trip only where we think it adds something, and we choose on content, reviews and usefulness, not on commission. We do not accept payment for inclusion or ranking.

Prices and availability

Prices, ratings and review counts shown here are indicative and were correct when last checked. The live figure on the provider’s site is the one that applies.

Plan your Dhangethi trip

Book the whale sharks for day one.

Boats run with limited places and sightings are never guaranteed, so book your whale shark trip for your first full day and keep a spare day to try again. Most tours can be cancelled free of charge.
